New combo
Some of you may remember that I have been considering a new wheel & tire combo for the wagon. In a rare moment of clarity, it came to me that I could perhaps improve my Buckyesque driving skills while making a sincere effort to mend fences with my GM buddies
A tribute to a Caprice wagon
What do you guys think?

I didn't think you could do anything to make the wagon ugly, but that is a darn good start. Please put the real tires and wheels back on it before word of this leaks out..........Last edited by oletrux4evr; April 26, 2012, 07:01 PM.Ed, Mary, & 'Earl'

I have finished reinstalling the fuel tank and have tested the entire fuel system for leaks. It appears that the new regulator and return line are all good - I am still VERY skeptical that the Holley HP150 pump is going to go the distance this year so I will be bringing my backup Carter just in case.
If I don't find any problems this weekend as I inspect / test the rest of the powertrain - then I will start the reassembly process next week. I have not driven the car since I changed the transmssion case and and freshened the internals so LOTS of opportunity for issues there. The valve springs have ~15k on them and perhaps worry me the most as I don't know what to expect as far as longevity goes at .630 lift. I test them each year before tour but that won't do me much good if they give up on the road.Last edited by cstmwgn; April 26, 2012, 08:15 PM.
