    • When you are ON Power Tour it goes too damn fast. When you are waiting for the next one it goes too damn SLOW ! But we are very close children of the highway, very close.

But, Uncle Phil. Sean says that the road beckons to all gearheads starting in May, and by June, we are all intoxicated with the call of that American tradition called POWER TOUR!!!!

Previous research has established that surfaces with tiny ribs (riblets) aligned in the streamwise direction can reduce the turbulent wall-shear stress below that of a smooth surface. Typical skin-friction reductions have been found to be about 5%. The results of the present investigation, however, demonstrate a considerable improvement over this value. This improvement is achieved by a systematic experimental optimization which has been guided by theoretical concepts

Although Vsolo is about 95% right with his theory.. Through testing has found out the BEST way to stop drag is to park the wagon..It is really rocket science..

i had dinner with them saturday nite. they are bringing a blazer this year. they need it because they will be picking up some parts for mrs. cranks eighty something monte carlo. the blazer just got painted last week by our friend rick (last years he was in a blue turbo coupe tbird). he's the guy that painted my 88 mustang and the torino, so even though i haven't seen the blazer yet, i expect it to be nice. they still own the car. i dought he'll ever sell it.

Changing from dresses to pants does not guarantee a reduction in drag but perhaps could influence windage.
