Allen, how did you fair from TS Debby? Sopchoppy made the weather channel . . . which is never good. Our house and garage stayed dry, but the shop had a foot of water in it.

All is well today but it has been a hell of a couple days with over 24 inches of rain.

Dave - glad to hear you made it through mostly dry.

It never really got that bad where I am - LOTS of rain but nothing very serious in the way of wind. We have a pond in the back yard that probably raised about 2 feet but it was pretty low so it only went over the normal bank by 10 - 15 feet which never got very close to the house. We do seem to have lots of standing water around the neighborhood which I am sure will make the mosquitos happy.

Can i remove 5 sp and install auto in 56

before Cstmwgn finds Wagon qlitch?

So how long does the auto have to stay in the 56 for this question to be answered?

I have been pondering spending some time troubleshooting my "qlitch" (not real sure what a "qlitch" is but it seems to be common knowledge that I have one) this Wednesday. Then when I can't fix it (AGAIN) I will order a waterproof relay and wire it into the flow and be done with it.

Thank you everyone for your feedback on my disc brake problems. I think i have narrowed it down to either an issue of shimming the calipers or replacing the master cylinder. Jegs sells a master cylinder kit with reservoir , adapter fittings and hardware that i think i am going to try. Bore is 1.031" and the description states that it will work with discs on the front(up to 4 piston)/drums on the rear. Add a proportioning valve which the car does not have originally(only a distribution block inline) and that will answer the question of the master cylinder. All this is good as i planned on upgrading the master and adding a prop valve anyway. If the master is not the culprit i am braking out the shims.
