Version 5 of fuel system on wagon!
Didn't someone say that the definition of insanity was doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. At least Earl's and Aeroquip should be happy - this version was about $200 in fittings and associated hardware.
On a more positive note, this version will be much easier to change on the side of the road as I might be able to R&R the pump without having to put it up on stands.

2 questions:
Are the filters identical/interchangable?
Who makes the ball valve?
Hopefully this will be the final stage of it's evolution!Ed, Mary, & 'Earl'

Post filter is 10 micron fiber
ball valve is Earl's - IF you are considering one you need to pay close attention to the ID of the ball. Both of their 3/8"NPT and -8an valves only have a .310 hole! I had to go to 1/2NPT to get an ID of .385 which is pretty close to most of the IDs in the -8an fittings.
If you notice - that is a Holley HP150 pump and certainly you remember how much success I have had with those on the last few tours! That is the one I took off going into Arlington on the last day. I THINK that the problem was it lost suction because the allen head bolts that hold the pumping unit on the motor were finger tight (at best). Anyway this time it is rigged to where I can put one of my favorite little carters back on it without needing to change any lines - just swap pumps.Last edited by cstmwgn; July 13, 2013, 02:58 PM.

Was that for a packaging or performance reason?
Who made your cute little flex lines/hoses?
Anyways, looks good and easy to service (if needed)FKA Redragtop

Why a man would change his last name.....
I mean, I understand why most women change their last name, but why would a man change his last name..... Hmmmmsigpic
