    Still no tracking number or ETA. It will be strapped to a pallet so it won't fit in what we have. The shipping company they use gets bad reviews. They are closed on weekends. If it ever shows up I get to rent a truck on short notice and go get it. Or I could have had it sent to a shop here and paid to have it put in. He said getting it by next week when I am off work and have time to mess with it would not be a problem.

      Starting to look like plan B. Change the timing belt on the Charger instead of the transmission on the el camino. Have to get the parts locally or from amazon. eBay wouldn't get here fast enough. They are paving our street from scratch so when they do the last part we won't be able to get out of the neighborhood until they are done. No idea when that will be. Soon though. Several inches of concrete and then it has to dry. Its only two dozen families SOL for a day or two or three.

        Emailed again today. Says it will ship sometime this week. Said the same thing nine days ago. Should have it now but at this rate it wont get here in time to put in before vacation ends. Semi from Florida in no hurry. The shippers have a bad rep on yelp for late pick ups misplacing stuff. Just checked their website and it says three days from Tampa to KCK. From when it ships SOMETIME this week.Should just cancel the order.

          Still no word at all. If it shipped today, I could pick it up Friday. If not, it will be Saturday or Sunday and they are closed on weekends so it will be Monday and vacation ends 5pm Saturday. Don't do face book so I can't post on their page. Already commented twice on their youtube. If you know it will be a month then say so in the first place and people like me won't buy from you.

            How to motivate or express concern to your body man/good friend you want your car at least halfway done. Still have engine/drive line, brakes, suspension,and interior to tackle. Not a good situation.

                      Huge adjustment, more than I expected. Every Thursday i think my seven off is over and I'm starting midnights on Friday! LOL . But I'm adjusting, it is really nice not being on that paper machine and that

                        I still have trouble sleeping. I blame it on shift work.

                            If I ever get to retirement, I think it will be hilarious! Even though I have suspicions as to why my former employer terminated my employment, but after hearing their problems with untrained apprentices, I ponder what they're thinking now? Then I smile and keep driving on to the best job I've ever had!

                              Patrick - I know it was a long road and at times a huge struggle but it sounds like you are really happy with where you have ended up. Congratulations!

                                Why the front spring shackle broke when I had bought a rear one in January after the other front one broke and it was said that the back ones looked the worst and the part fits either side so it was a safe bet to buy one to have on hand. That and its easier to change the rears. At least I am on vacation this time and can do it myself. Yippie!
