Things I am pondering today

Reminded me of PT. Long drive to get there and about 45 minute wait to get in. Screen too small with poor sound quality. Good thing I bought a ticket online. Some people didn't get in. A line the entire time for snacks.

At least you went to get the experience. Better to go than to miss out on the last one. Last Drive-in theater I went to was 2017 HRPT. Davenport stop. Rode with Big Dave in the banana boat. It was a great experience, more about being with friends than watching a movie.
Someday all the Drive-ins will be gone... Just a memory for those of us who were able to experience it.

Now they are cancelling all the motortrend shows like Roadkill and Roadkill Garage Dirt Every Day was already gone and I guess Engine masters was too. There was no Holiday Hooptie Challenge this year either.

A local band I like is playing Saturday night. I would like to see them but they are playing a lounge that requires reservations ahead of time. They barely serve food at all and its like $20 for crackers. I don't drink and have noone to hang out with and not paying for $16 cocktails. I do like that they say you have to behave and keep your voice down.

Had to rewire a coil due to rodent damage and now the computer says the next cylinder has the misfire. I guess they are wired together to keep them in sync? Damn coils are $90 Took a week to get a new pigtail/plug for the coil.

Was going to maybe try swapping the coils to see if anything changed or possibly checking the plugs. Car has 79k miles. Now the assholes have destroyed the wiring and grommet on the sensor in the middle of the head. Internet says its a temperature sensor of some kind.

Found a broken wire on #4. Fixed it and it seems to have smoothed out. I will find out when I go to work. I put traps under the car. We'll see if we catch anything and what if anything.

Car ran perfect yesterday and now its ####ed again. POS bastards COMPLETELY destroyed the wires on my brand new plug that it took me a week to get in the mail. Not to mention the $25. Six inches of wire and they have to bite it off right at the plug. Which is why I had to buy the plug in the first place. Not enough wire to fix. Bonus- they re-chewed the wires for the temp sensor. I cleaned out their shit and dosed the whole engine with washer fluid and they still came back. AFTER I was gone out of town for hours. My mouse trap disappeared the other day. No sign of it. Might have gotten a tail or something. Need more traps and maybe some kind of poison. Too cold for snakes. Barbed wire could hurt my tires. Had some glue traps around but they just filled up with leaves and shit.

Stu, get some pure peppermint and put dab on sponge or something similar and hang inside engine compartment also use in garage. Mice can’t stand the smell, Amish use it in their store/homes. I have been using it for at least 5years with no mice problems.

Spread pepper and cinnamon around the engine two days ago after putting everything back together. Looks like there is a long wire running along the side of the engine that has been messed with but I don't know what it's for. They ate the peanut butter and nuts out of the mouse traps without dieing.

Tried all that plus moth balls with no luck but the peppermint does. Pisses you off when finding nest in glove box and paper chewed up to make it or find towel destroyed in trunk. Good luck getting rid of them.

The 71 has no interior other than the seat and the 16 they are only messing with the coil wires and temp sender on top of the cam cover so far. Rat got in the house in january. Bit a hole in the output hose of the dishwasher and ruined both cables on the door. Not to mention all the food it got into. Too big and too smart until I got it with a covered trap and some peanut clusters. Internet says they can't eat chocolate or raisins or artificial sweeteners but that is bullshit. It ate the non-toxic "poison" and the foam bowl I put it in. Used to be able to get real poison, back in my day. They claim the bait kills their appetite and the sweetener blocks digestion or some BS.
