Our power was out a couple weeks ago but it was only around four hours IIRC. The cell phone network still worked though. I had to go to work in the dark. The stop lights were the only thing still working. Store was dark, the back-up lights had already quit. Had to use a flashlight until two in the morning.

Changed the oil. Old stuff didn't look bad. Hardly any miles on it but its been since 2018+/- and I had replaced the crank rods and all the bearings so thought between the lube and bearing break-in there might be stuff in it. No leaks but still says 0 oil pressure. Just enough to fill the plastic line on the back of the gauge? Gauges don't go bad do they? Tried flicking it LOL. No sender to change.

Glad I don't have a place to put them. We live in town and the cars have to be drivable. Plus I sold my engine stand and puller. Hadn't used them in five or six years.

$150 for on site parking. That's almost twice the price to get in the show. ....and the horse you rode in on. But wait- there's more. It's actually $183 after fees. $30 to park across the street. I could hire a limo round trip for less than that.

Zach Bryan is playing tonight and tomorrow night but I don't want to pay $180+ parking and gas. Pondering going to see Dierks Bentley friday night. That's only $60 + BS. Not my favorite but way closer than two or three hours each way to see Dwight Yoakam Thursday night. Really want to see Nathaniel Rateliff but that's 5 hours one way and a tank gas and probably staying overnight so $50 or more there.
Trying to make use of my vacation but so far managed to do nothing for two days. Bought a ticket to see Eli Young next month. Cruise night tomorrow not too far from here. One tonight is two hours away and over in half an hour.

Finally got the car started after replacing everything. All I did was try a different power wire to the coil. That means the gas isn't that bad and the cam isn't flat and I don't have to buy a new battery. Bad thing is the gauge is reading zero oil pressure. You can see that the line is intact and there is oil up to the back of the gauge. That and the engine wouldn't be too happy with no oil. I doubt its the oil pump shaft from when I changed the distributor. I have dropped one down into the pan before and know what that's like. Plus the pump wouldn't work at all without it. IDK.

Jump pack makes no difference. Spark test looks like only after I stop cranking. Doesn't make sense with full power when key is on.
Found a deal on a new freezer. Full size for the price of a smaller one. 21 ft vs 14 ft. 11% back from Menards if bought before monday. Then at check out there's a fee for processing and then $110 for delivery and then $30 install fee and then $20 haul away fee for the old one. That's $161.50 for delivery. In the same town.
