    On a bright note .... Won my first race yesterday !

    I know politics are prohibited and I'll express no opinion about any party, person or platform on this forum... BUT I just wanted to boast a little. We need more car guys in politics gang. I won my first ever attempt at entering the political fray. Who's next ?

      I wrote my name in for county assessor, and talked a few friends and neighbors into writing it in as well ... there was no one running and I still lost....DOH!

              I'm really excited about the opportunity to serve in this capacity. As you all know, I'm a career Firefighter/Captain in a neighboring city. I've seen the good and the bad associated with rapid growth during the boom and I've seen the fallout associated with the bust. I think my perspective as a city employee ( albeit in another city ), may really help with the decision making at the council table.

                  politics are not forbidden....they're just discouraged ;) it's part of the repression inherent in the system
                  Maybe I can clear this up.....I thought the cop was a prostitute.
