The Garlits museum is a must-see! We spent 5 hours there in 2005 and really left too soon. There must be more hemi motors in there than you can shake a stick at. Lots of awesome history about drag racing, and automobiles in general, not just Don Garlits. Well worth the admission price!
Anyone else dug something good up for stops?
Still want to try to find "THE" Ron Jon's Surf Shop in Cocoa Beach.

2020...year of getting screwed by a Narcissist and learning hard lessons into trusting the wrong people on a business venture.
2021...year of singing "99 problems but an asshole ain't one" Moved cross country twice on a role of the dice...I left Nebraska and came back to Nebraska.

take a left out of the venue (528/A1A). run this road till you find it on your left. it's on the corner of A1A and 520 ( the next causeway back to the mainland). no more than a mile or two?
I was going to stop at the Jefferson Davis Memorial last year in Kentucky but missed it somehow. And I regret not stopping longer at Chickamauga - I enjoy Civil War history. I think I was born 100 years too late.
Phil...I was talking to Mel last night while sitting at the Greek Islands off Center Street...chowing a Gyro...I am sort of bummed we didn't stop and check out some of the history.
Darn Powertour blinders I was wearing. :-\
