The weekend of the 30th sounds good. Can anyone tell me what the weather is like then, I plan on doing it on the Harley since the wife got the car.

Weather is warm-ish during the day, but bring a jacket. I usually wear long sleeves and a light jacket. Nighttime can still be a little chilly. Remember, it's April 2-3, even North Carolina can still be cold then! Will not be warm enough for shorts, even during the day.

that hotel was resonable and close to the interstate. however, it might be cool to stay closer to the blue ridge parkway, so it would be easier to get the group there in one piece. please note though, that cost is a major consideration.
