Seriously Bob, I put the Rosta unit on my '58. Relatively quick install on the 5.3 Vortec, works fine. Good for the interstate trip to the start and back home when I had to book it. Did not use it on the tour when I was following folks, obviously. Overall, I am very happy with the result. See you soon, David

I put one on a 92 work truck pick up in about 96 - it was a simple kit with magnets on the driveshaft - I'm sure they're better now - but that one did the trick for many years of long highway trips.There's always something new to learn.

Thanks everyone for the information
i brought a rosta cruise control
but i probably won't install it before power tour
My Buddy "Special Ed" is going to ride with me as far as New Orleans
so the need of cruise control goes back a few projects.

took 56 for another shakedown ride
and i am back to installing cruise
Dale and Wife Barb (canadians) helped me ake off hood last night so Jesse can repair fender bracket
off to grandsons first smething tomaarow in Glens Falls
