    The only thing I wanted to see in florida is now gone.



    Most of the complex was torn down years ago, and it was no longer marked as anything special, but I had plans to visit the site anyway. I guess I still might. But I'm sad now.

    It is a great loss but keep your chin up..... You will pass right by it on the way to Valdosta, GA:



    It's well worth the time to stop.....

      Yeah dad has been to the garlits museum, says it's worth it. About Smokey's place, maybe they'll be tearing it down when we are there and I can grab a cinderblock or something. LOL

        79 malibu that hopefully makes it for 3000 miles

        Made it with no breakdowns, missing 2012

                If you go to the va stop his place is only about 5 minutes down the road from the va home. It's right next to a city park that's on the Halifax river. I took the pictures in the parking lot of the park. To be honest with you if you didn't know it was his you wouldn't think twice about it. You would proably wonder why there is a run down old building on a piece of property next to the water and a giant condo.
