After doing LP field, I hit the road early for Indy and want to warn you'all for tomorrow. Mile marker 65ish to mm 75ish on I65 in Ky. is a MESS! construction down to one lane in several areas and all I hear on the CB is how the truckers wish they'd have stayed on rt 31. Was going my normal 85-89MPH and stopping did what it has done 4 times for me now. QUIT! I'm the black 73 Z28 RS with the silver stripes. Pro Flow injected small block. Have never had so much trouble with fuel boiling in a 45 PSI system, but after talking with many people it is rather common with todays crap errr I mean fuel. It was on an up-hill section of the freeway in the fast lane of course, a kind dude in a chevy truck got out and helped push it onto the half shoulder. Let it cool down for 15 minutes as always and off I go. Anyhow if someone could at least tell Dave Freierburer or Clarence, or whoever is doing the drivers meeting to let people know that from talking to the locals rt 31 is a great road and would be an excellent alternative to breaking down in a bad place. MOTOR ON! See Ya'll in INDY!

Yeah we got in that mess. We could have got off at the first exit but didn't know where it went at the time. An hour later we took the 2nd exit and had a leisurely cruise up the 31. They shoulda posted the route to take 31 there. We skipped the official route today and took I65 up the whole way, with a stop at the corvette museum. With the long mileage today i bet a lot of people skipped the scenic route.Comment
