Mary, I am glad your trucker saw you. I had the same scenario, only the Semi put me in the bridge, it took me almost a year to recover... I am really happy you were more fortunate.

44... To all the truckers out there. There some really decent people who try their very best to drive careful. I hate to follow a semi truck, so when I come upon one, I get in the passing lane about 10 car lengths from the truck and then begin to pass. Yesterday, while returning home from a visit in Wichita, Kansas, a semi proceeded to come into my lane while I was about mid way even with his truck. It scared me so, I moved over into the area on the side of the road I am driving 75) and I knew if I got in the gravel, it would all be over. I noticed he continued to come over and I saw a cement bridge ahead and I knew I didn't want to hit it head on so I laid on the horn, kicked it up to about 85, moved back into my lane and prayed the driver would not hit me. Praise God he saw me and moved back over. He must have been on the phone or asleep. I didn't have a chance to look at him. I will get to see all of you in June!!
