    belly button hernia, Yes I have had one, it is repaired now. cool scar on my Belly Button. Really hurts when you push your belly button.
    Just means you pulled some muscles loose (ie your intestines are floating around out of place) & need some surgery to reinforce them.
    I also have had left & right inguinal hernias, I have a kevlar mesh in there now.
    I can do anything now except be a weight lifter.
    Surgery is usually a day surgery, they have come along way since my 1st hernia in 1980 and my second around 2000. Now they just uses small probes and inflate your belly and repair them, I still have a neat scar from the 80's. No I won't show it to you or anyone No scars from the 2 surgery, well that I can see

          312.... I've never had a belly button hernia, but back in 1998, I had a double hernia and it was a bitch!!! I went about two months before knowing it, and I sneezed at work one night and collapsed. That's how I found out. Like Bill mentioned, it was a one day surgery, and they put mesh to replace/attach the torn muscles. The scar sucks, as it was both of my lower abs....

                      Worked on the left quarter tonight welded in some old trim holes that went to the halo roof and blocked it out not to bad for the first blocking will load it back up tomorrow for another run at it. May weld in some patch panel tomorrow as well will have to see how it goes. Just a little at a time and before you know it she will be done. Also got my weather strip kit in today so I've one less item to buy now.
