note: just made reservations. they have a double available for $95.99 grp rate ($110.00 normal)

note: tried to call Lynchburg hotel at 434-847-9041 and got an answering machine like it was a private number, not a hotel business. anyone else get thru on this number?

I called Lynchburg & got right thru, I asked for the Bangshift rate & they gave it to me 79.99 (as opposed to the normal rate of 109.99)> I called Waynesboro & at the time they had not heard from Victor Allen yet (he called after I did) but I did get my military rate with was 3.49 more than what the offered for a queen Rate that Vic posted. I saw his post after i made my reservation that he had gotten a Bangshift rate. I did not ask about 2 beds...

Just booked my rooms so add me to the list. Not sure yet on how many friends are tagging along yet so I will post as they let me know.

Vsolo- What time and which way are you heading down? I saw you post about the museum and I think it sounds like a nice place to see along the way.

I'm a geek planner here is an approx route for me.

not 100% sure what time I'm leaving, I want to say 8 or 9 AM from my area?
Not sure if I'll have company with me just yet.
Fredrick is about an hour and fifteen from me

Green is my route down (approx 6 hours)
Yellow pin is the Museum (Eavers Classic Cars and Collectibles )
Blue is the approx FCT route (just a guesstimate for me)
The hotels.
Blue car, is where the car show is at
Red is my route back (4 hour, 20 minutes) it's a Sunday so I'm guessing traffic won't be bad
2 food stops (subject to change)
The odd thing is a State park

Vsolo thaks a nice map. Here's my number 301-401-1972 if you don't mind I will hook up as you pass thur Frederick area. As for my route back I think I'm going to try Skyline Drive or at least some of it. If it doesn't look to bad on time.
