We felt the same way about taking a FWD GP on our first tour...now ready to take it on it's 5th... it's never about the destination...just the journey and those great friends you make along the way!!! Fair Winds Brother!!!
Good point. I've been bugging the parents to let me take the '56 wagon, but it needs some work before a trip like that and I don't have the money to get it ready. So as of right now... power tour ride is a 2005 Cobalt SS/SC
Will be driving the 'Cuda again this year. We're only gonna do one stop and
that will be Champaign. We're getting it ready for The Carl Casper Show in Louisville,
Kentucky toward the end of February.
Since its starting to look more and more like the s10 won't be up to power tour standards in time, I've been trying to come to grips with having to take the slobalt instead (taking a cobalt is better than not going at all, right? lol). Plus side, I'd have AC, cruise control, and cobalt or not its still a 13 second car (faster by then; its going to be getting a 35 shot in the near future). Anyways... thoughts on taking a 4 cylinder on the power tour?

Thank you all for the kind words.
It is nice to have your time and hard work appreciated.
I, along with a couple other friends in their cars, plan
to drive up and meet with the Tour in Champaigne, Ill,
and travel with it back home to Texas. Cant wait!!
