If you do, make sure you hook up with us at some point. We're pretty easy to find, just look for the smoke!
And the blue cooler(s) - the official cooler color of the Power Tour - or any color for that matter.

WTF ? a 13 sec COBALT - rock on Chevrolet (with help of course) and going on a Moped (what's the old joke about riding a Moped?) is better than not going sir. Word.
Speaking of help thanks for your input today Steve - I owe ya a beer man. You were right - the labor rates were a tad higher in Omaha then in Sioux Rapids !! But it all works out in the end.
Thanks. And Iowa I'm not giving up on the truck for the tour yet, just being realistic about where its at.

04 is primary this year lot done to it over the past 2 months. gonna dyno it in detroit to see if it was all worth it or not. back up would be the 67 lemans. the lemans will be ready to go if need be, the 67 is in good enough shape to make it, but is starting to show its age. plus a high 400 to low 500 hp gto with air seems like more fun.
My 2011 Power Tour Ride, sold it a couple months ago
My 2012 Power Tour Ride if we can get it ready in time, just bought it this weekend. Plans are for a fresh small block, 700R4, disc brakes, new wheels, power steering, interior. Got alot to do in the next few months.

Hello all!
I am new to the forum. I went on the '04 Power Tour in a '71 Chevy truck I had at the time. Came home, sold the truck the following November and bought my '61 Biscayne. Spent the next five years resto-rodding it. I built it myself, specifically with the Power Tour in mind, complete with a 700R4 and Vintage Air. Can't wait till the Power tour!!!
