2011 Power Tour on Hot Rod tv this Saturday 9 am central

we were discussing it locally and we agree about the two hour movie part. with all the video they shot, they could have made a few episodes of hot rod tv , put alot of the participants cars in it and then sold the video. it seems hot rod could use this material more efficiently. besides, you know every one who's car showed up in the video, would buy a copy.

It tells allot more in 16 minutes our 3 day trip, which is about the people and the cars.
At one point on the back road I have an estimate that the 30 plus cars were over 1 1/4 mile long line..
It was a good weekend. Check out North East Ron Run under "Events" on BS Hope to see you there. I'm taking my wife this time, it is a nice short trip for them and beside she can meet some of the other good wives that don't make the HRPT

I know it's really just pictures, more than an actual video, but I try to get everyone in there and when I put it all together, I try to
show things so even if you didn't go on the trip, you know exactly what it was like. Hot Rod really doesn't accomplish that with their professionally done videos.

That's what I personally think makes the Northeast Rod Run such a great time. It's all about the people, and has nothing to do with sponsers. We don't have to base our trips on certain things to make a sponser happy. Lot's of people do their part to make it happen. From me setting it up, to others trying to work on T-shirts and even just certain certain people trying to get everyone together in the morning for a group picture.

Our trips are based 100% on input coming from people on the actual trip. During this year's trip I will put out suggestions and base next year's trip on the feedback I get from everyone. Next year is our 5 year anniversary also, so we will be able to incorporate more things into it than normal
