Hot Rod Magazine Forum needs Posting from Freaks

If the Bangshift Freaks are going to have ANY political Muscle with the Hot Rod Staff.

WE are going to have to post occasionaly on they're web site.

Yes i know how difficult that is and all the advertisements suck

but were are loosing our ability to influence change.
Example: Power Tour, Drag Week, other events, Etc.

Remember someone at HR is keeping score.

The freaks are a large voting Block,
possibily 10% and more of the Power Tour long Haulers are Bangshift Members.

Lets not loose our chance to influence!

Consider this constructive criticism, not a bitch: I have been aware of the need to support Hot Rods website, since they support our hobby, and I like posting over there. But the pop-ups are totally out of hand. I can reluctantly handle the slow loading adds that you can X out of, but now there is a zipper covering the lower left corner of the screen that won't go away. The amout of time I have available to surf and post seems be almost non-existant anymore, so I have to make the best use of surfing time available. Hot rods site is the last one I go to because of the adds slowing down the process. If they want us on the forum, they really should consider making it more user freindly. jmho Joel

Stupid question, but who is JP? I'll say less than 10% of Long Haulers are BS members. Also, as far as getting any pull with the Hot Rod staff, I'd bet if DF wanted our feedback he would ask for it HERE. How much pull does the actual staff at HR have in dates, locations, etc. or is this all setup by Family Events?

BTW, I'm more curious about the huge plumbing in the pic than the elephant.

Frankly, I'll speak my piece, but agreed on the site. Because I prefer to have a computer that doesn't like to be attacked by a lot of hackers on a mac...because I enjoy some operating systems that work}, the HR site seems to hiccup for me.

Frankly, also, I think a chunk of it with PT still resides on a number of factors. I would love to see HR hit Omaha up on a tour again, but doubtful that would ever happen...it's been said a number of times. Money dictates a lot of things, and it's not free to put on a spectacle like powertour.

Bob, hate to say it, but I believe that even if we were twice as many and all of us where only posting on the HRM forum, we would not have any more influence with Source Interlink (which is the corporate identity that dictates HRM staff direction).

also, if the sites hard to use, less people will use it. any big corp with any sense should know this.
