They are done thrashing on the Camaro and are 36 hours behind, but finally on the road to Bonneville in his 67 Impala. Follow him live on a map via gps !
Mini-donuts will be an endangered species from there to the Salt...
Editor-at-Large at...well, here, of course!
"Remy-Z, you've outdone yourself again, I thought a Mirada was the icing on the cake of rodding, but this Imperial is the spread of little 99-cent candy letters spelling out "EAT ME" on top of that cake."
The car goes to Tech first thing in the morning. BS member Vette#128 (Ed) is pitted right next to DF and Turk. Lee Sicilo(sp?) that DieselGeek tunes for is only a couple pits down.
I'm getting ready to settle in for the night, but the winds are howling. Kinda wishing I brought my POS trailer now, the tent isn't too happy =P

Not sure if you all know about the BBC swallowing a carb vent tube, but David hurt the motor on the first run, so they decided to make a two-cylinder out of the V-8.
This attempt is in a 2-cylinder class with an Open Record, so all they had to do was get it onto the track.
David has been scheming this configuration for years.
Here is a vid of the run, he posted on YouTube.
It sounds better than I thought it would ....

What could possibly go wrong?
I'm glad they left the blower on it because frankly, if you are going to let your shit ride, you need to let your shit.....RIDE!
Good luck you band of crazy bastards!
