They are at the Chicago airport right now and were going to fly home, (Deleware) this morning at 11:00 but flights have been cancelled. They were spending a few days with my son-in-laws family in Michigan City, IN. They may be driving to Michigan spending a couple days here and then getting a flight home from Detroit instead of Chicago. They are working with the airlines right now to figure it all out. Then hopefully we can change our tickets that are for Saturday morning and visit them there in a couple weeks. That way we might get two visits instead of one.

I just booked a room at the Holiday Inn also. I'm thinking the Shoreline was cheaper this year. With taxes and everything, the Holiday Inn is $145!

jumped in at the HI in Muskegon, with a backup at the HI in Spring Lake.....had some trouble trying to book at the Shoreline......where's everyone going in Detroit?.......rexdoggComment

Unless I bring a different car - I am pretty sure that staying at Spring Lake would not be a wise choice for me.

Me too Dave. I know I spent less then that this year at the Shoreline and that is nice place. We'll see when Family Events puts out there hotel list what the price is at Shoreline. I believe we picked VanDyke for Detroit.Originally posted by rexdogg View PostI R Bob
