Thanks, the metal PT sign sounds cool...I'll keep searching for the pre-event information too, as I would like to see a little more of the Detroit area this time, and missed Lingenfelter visit last year as Rett and I were already hauling ass back...

Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village are great - not sure if I can get there THAT early though (Bob ? We'd have to do the museum Thursday if we do the Vets Show on Friday) it's a two day drive (comfortably) for me. Hell I did Detroit to Colorado Springs in 20 hours once, but I was young and dumb then, I'm just dumb now.

Holy Moly.........more guests?.......I do have four bedrooms......and a couch.........anyway, '69Z in shop for preparations: oil/filter/plugs/timing, new fan and alternator, fix pinion leak and replace ujoint, minor interior and exterior paint work, etc.....should be good to go.....Leon, you can grab your 2012 PT sign somewhere along the way........

Do you need any window stickers for the Z since you took the Chevelle last year ? I think I have a full Power Tour 2011 sticker - one minus the 2011 and a Long Haul Gang sticker - they're yours if you want them.

been trying to find info re: pre-Power Tour events (scheduled, approved, rumored, etc.); if you see/hear of any, please post. Just learned that my wife is leaving for LA at about the same time, to visit family, so.....instead of me looking at the dog, and the dog looking at me, I might head to Detroit early........as an aside, I'm having a few metal signs made (Hot Rod Power Tour 2012), and will bring a few with me (had a few last year); I'll have one for you if you want (a freebie for the freaks)......

keep me posted on your plans, as we get closer to the tour......it looks now (I know it's early) that my wife is leaving for LA on either Monday or Tuesday of that week....if you get close, and want a place to stay Wed. night, you would be more than welcome to crash at my place, or.......hook up somewhere on the road from the Chitown area to Detroit Thursday morning....I'll advise as to whether my wife actually leaves for LA as planned (we're going over airfares and dates now; otherwise, she might say, "who's the other guy in the bed?").......hahahaha.............just kidding......and somewhere along the way, you can pick up your 2012 Power Tour sign.......

With the Friday Open House(s) at Diversified Creations and Lingenfelter Performance in Brighton I'm staying in Wixom Thurs, Fri, Sat.

You probably saw some of this in another thread......I'm at Wixom too for the three days, originally because I wanted to get in early and be there for Friday if we do a VA cruise.....

Is the Proving Grounds a done deal for sure? Everything I've checked points to that but just want to be certain. Thx!
