I am booked everywhere except the stop before Miami. I figure if we have a long day and 6 nice ones, I'm cool with that.
Honestly, I don't need the power tour to drive back roads. I live in Southern Indiana and take them from here to Tennessee all the time. I need the power tour to hang with Phil, and Rett, and Bucky, and Ed & Jane, and Ed & Mary, and Jim & Maureen, & Clarence and all the other folks I love spending time with. The drive is cool, but the people are the bomb!!!!!!
I was speaking of the HIE on Henly - I got in for $100.88 out the door. Then everyone started talking about Joplin (Range Line Road) which was $128.80 out the door. I have not looked into the Hampton Inn as yet. This year's tour seems to be shaping up to be a mess. The thing that has always made the tour fun for me are the back roads and given some of the distances between venues this year's rounte may not be that much fun.
Quit your cryin' - the short run to Stillwater you can run it twice on the backroads and still be there before the rest of us - there problem solved.

I booked 5 out of 7 stops (2 nights at Detroit) but left them all at work - still need to book Miami (HIE was full) and wherever the stop before was is - who the heck knows where.

Me too, and I can't understand why the tour would bypass Springfield (a great car town with lots of possibilities) only to stop in Miami......with less than 13,000 population and only a casino as an attraction.....
We all know FE is about the money... Just think how much money the casino could make on it.... I bet they paid FE BIG BUCKS...
