Edit: I booked the Hampton Inn in Miami....it was $50 cheaper than the HIE. I kept Joplin, just in case.

I don't know how that is even possible, I want a room at the Hampton for twenty bucks

but I may change them to Evansville IN and Springfield MO
or Cape Girardeau MO and Fort Scott MO

LOL, I guess you're referring to me Bob! I'm usually a little later than you guys, but my bookings shouldn't have affected most of the freaks. I have really only looked at Fairfield's/Hampton's/ and Choice Hotels, not a big fan of HI's. Due to the limited amount of hotels in Stillwater, I looked at the HI but didn't want to mess with the majority and decided against it. As I've done before, if I get any of my group that cancel and/or I have extra rooms, I will offer them up here before I cancel them to help someone booking last minute save a few bucks.
I'll forward a list once we know the last city and I'm done reserving.

Mike your always ahead on reservations and typically dont stay a freak hotels so i was not referring to your group

Ed, we have a room booked at the HIE in Miami, OK

I am staying in joplin HIE. Also, NOT staying in st.louis- collinsville area. i made new reservation for ROLLA,MO. HIE approx. 2 hrs down the road toward joplin and miami. we are not sure of that stop anyway!!! makes a much shorter drive in a.m..3 hrs.. want to check out route 66 down there.
i looked at joplins website last nite and they were hit pretty hard, would be nice to do something down there. they don't have a QUAKER STEAK down there tho. ANY IDEAS?
