Locals Question.......How bad is traffic getting to Downtown Detroit Riverfront on a Thursday evening or Friday morning? Where to avoid going??

Joe T's is a great place. Great food, margaritas, and service. But.........long lines. Dark, gravel/dirt parking lot. Other than that a very good place to eat. I take the rental car there almost every time I am down for training at DFW.

Don't forget we're doing Mexican night somewhere along the route. Maybe we'll get some free drinks for putting on a car show the parking lot!

Why thursdays drivers meeting?

thinking of leaving muskegon after the events end maybe around 6 or so and heading towards champaign Il. On the way down i would stop in pontiac il at the rt 66 museum, and the pontiac oakland car museum and then head to the venue. this will allow some time on rt 66 and provide some extra sight seeing . the only drivers meetings i want to attend are sun and thur. other then that i am up to finding some extra trips on the way .
