And here is an update to the first one...

We will be having an Experience Woodward Cruise Night in Ferndale on Thursday, May 31 . This is the community that started the Woodward Dream Cruise to raise money for a soccer field. However, people have been crusing Woodward for years as the city expanded to the northern suburbs after WWII- My mom raced a '55 Mercury Monclair, when she wasn't driving her brothers '54 Corvette (which he still owns). I am working with the City of Ferndale (9 mile)to coordinate a police escort north on Woodard into the other communities like Berkley and Royal Oak (got check out Duggan's Irish Pub) and Birmingham, which play a major role in the August Event.

Also just announced, The Lingenfelter Collection which includes over 200 cars and keeps around 145 at their facility in Brighton Michigan are planning to open the collection on Friday, June 1, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m..

There will be no charge for Hot Rod Power Tour participants and are located approximately 6 miles from the GM Milford Proving Grounds. They are planning to open the collection on Friday, June 1, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m.. There will be no charge for Hot Rod Power Tour participants.

Check out Autopalooza.org for more information.

do you have or can you get, any more info on those junk yards?

I too saw that, it may have been on the Family Events site when I was registering.

"I thought we would start about 6:00 on Friday evening. That would give everyone time to get to Michigan, and register at the PT venue. You are more than welcome to bring your equipment to the shop any day you want. We have plenty room.

You can start setting up anytime Friday. The store will be open Thursday from 9 to 7, and again 9-7 on Friday. You will not interfer with our normial business. You can pick your stuff up on Saturday if you want. We will be open from 9 to 5, or we can arrange to meet there if you can't make it while we are open.
I am planning to do the long haul again this year. Some of my people will most likely make the run to Muskegon with the tour on Sunday. It is only a couple hours from my shop to the Muskegon venue."
