And here is an update to the first one...
We will be having an Experience Woodward Cruise Night in Ferndale on Thursday, May 31 . This is the community that started the Woodward Dream Cruise to raise money for a soccer field. However, people have been crusing Woodward for years as the city expanded to the northern suburbs after WWII- My mom raced a '55 Mercury Monclair, when she wasn't driving her brothers '54 Corvette (which he still owns). I am working with the City of Ferndale (9 mile)to coordinate a police escort north on Woodard into the other communities like Berkley and Royal Oak (got check out Duggan's Irish Pub) and Birmingham, which play a major role in the August Event.
Also just announced, The Lingenfelter Collection which includes over 200 cars and keeps around 145 at their facility in Brighton Michigan are planning to open the collection on Friday, June 1, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m..
There will be no charge for Hot Rod Power Tour participants and are located approximately 6 miles from the GM Milford Proving Grounds. They are planning to open the collection on Friday, June 1, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m.. There will be no charge for Hot Rod Power Tour participants.
Check out Autopalooza.org for more information.

HOT ROD is “where it all began,” as the first magazine to cover the hot rod culture. Since that time, HOT ROD has evolved into a brand devoted to everything from hot rods to restomods, barn finds to project cars and everything in between.
