based on these pics, all three of mine have the GM t-tops.
i haven't seen too many T/A's without t-tops. anyone know the production figures?

haven't had much time. dealing with the parents. drove the brown one around the block and doing little things here and there. haven't touched the white one yet and won't for awhile. the black one is at my friends warehouse. we are waiting to put the engine in it. meet someone at the hangout saturday nite that said his dad might be interested cause he likes to buy the cars without the engine installed.

have not heard from the kid on the black car, so we are going to go ahead and put the engine/tranny in. now we aren't sure this is the engine that came out of the car. it had 60's stye engine mounts and a 67' olds tranny, the best we can tell. thinking the engine might be a 70' olds, now we aren't even sure if it's a 403. we can't find any numbers stamped on the block. there was a 350 olds at the guys house that he had in the car last, so we are hoping that has the engine mounts and the factory tranny for this car.

got the interior out of the brown car. i'm going to try dying it so all faded parts are the same color. pulled out the battery tray and found some good rust underneath. nothing structual, so i'll clean it, but rust inhibitor on it , paint it and put in a new battery tray.

need to sand blast the original wheels and repaint them before i put new rubber on them. then i'll put them back on the car.

found the "403" stamped on the block for the black car. that's a relief. the 350, since it had been running in the black car, had the original tranny and engine mounts that were missing. we went ahead and bought the engine just to have it. eaiser to change trannys on the shop floor then in the sand. now we have an olds 350, not sure what year yet, and a 67' olds turbo 325 tranny. anyone know who might want these?

we'll start by listing them on Craigslist. if we can't get at least $200.00 from them, i'll take them to the scrap metal place.

because of their weight, i would like to sell them more local. i don't know olds stuff, so i don't know if they are worth what they would cost to ship them. the engine ran when it was taken out of the car, but i'm guessing the tranny is good as a core only.

got the engine in the black car. it runs....like crap, but it runs. it has good oil pressure - 50psi, but theres alot of noise coming from the valve cover area. hopping to run it more tomarrow and things will lossen up.

ran the engine in the black car a couple times last nite. the more we ran it the better it sounded. got the motor actually in and bolted down. looks like no rebuild is needed. pull the interior today. replaced the door handle (must be a commen problem as all of the cars had one broken door handle). trying to get it ready to take it to Daytona next week????

brown car interior is all dyed. letting it sit for 1 week before putting it back in. going to order new headliner material, i couldn't make the original stuff work. probably should replace the carpet while everything is out of the car, but the $160.00 bucks is money i can spend elsewhere. got the title switched over to my name. just need to get insurance and a tag. i'm getting a little excited to drive it.
