  • Your Cars condition

I realized I have 32 day to assemble a car that has basically been sitting for 7 years. What kinda shape is your power tour ride in?

Waiting on engine, transmission, rear end, sub frame connectors, body mounts, seats from the upholsterer, new gauges, stereo, and the interior put back in. Other than that, I'm in pretty good shape :o

my 47 ford is not in as far away shape as some of ya's but it has been sitting since 1985 so everytime i turn around i'm finding something else leaking or not working. i got it running, which i thought was going to the hard part but that turned out to be the easy part.

Not exactly going to on the Power Tour, but I like the idea of this thread.
Here is Blackout in it's current state. Wiring! (Which I dreaded doing, but man, it's a piece of cake!)

I have a couple of flash lights if that will help. ;D
It's not the destination, but the journey and the friends you make along the way that counts.

We've never had wipers on the Chevelle, rain-x only and it's works fine.

Hey Steve, get that Camaro done and ship her over for PT! You want to fly to Colorado and do the wiring in my Camaro? ???

Cool, that is what I'll do if I run out of time.
I'll focus on the lights for now.
                          Thanks.

Driveable and shiny, but with many details to finish and a few performance/driveability issues to sort out.

We're good to go! Did a little tweakin' on the carb and the tappets and sounds and runs so much better! The horns, well, they work intermittenly. Traced the problem to somewhere in the steering column maybe??? Might have to "jury rig" some kind of horn set up (temporarily) until we can find the problem.
