According to FAQ on Family Events Site, you will need your drivers license and proof of insurance to register or to pick up credentials. A few of years ago I had to go back to the car to get my insurance card before they gave me our credentials.

Better to be safe than sorry and have it in your hand. I know they have asked me a couple times and a couple times they said "NAAAAH" so who knows if they are supposed to ask for it or not. Probably so.Phil / OmahaComment
