    Driving Directions:

    Schedule of events:

HOT ROD is “where it all began,” as the first magazine to cover the hot rod culture. Since that time, HOT ROD has evolved into a brand devoted to everything from hot rods to restomods, barn finds to project cars and everything in between.

Nothing too exciting I see accept for the addition of an autocross in Quiktrip Park and Kicker will doing some install seminars.

It's going to take a while to digest the route. The only new thing I see is a hospitality stop at lunch at Lane Automotive (Day 3 on the way to Champagne), NO mention of Route 66, early departure on Day 5 (June 6) of 8am. They were nice enough to list tolls (Rett - I've got a big bag of quarters packed).

Actually, the Autocross at Quiktrip is probably only for the Optima Faceoff participants...

            Burn out comp

Whats that I see, a burn out competition Friday June 8 at Quik Trip Park as part of the Royal Purple High Performance Experience.

Is this what I think it is?

i think i found a mistake. June 5th, Champaign to Madison.
coming from Mid America, the directions say "Take US-40 to Altamont", then "Turn left on IL-28/Farina Road", "Turn left onto I-70".
according to Google maps, the road in Altamont to the I-70 entrance, is IL-128.

                          found another mistake.
                          June 7, Miami to Stillwater
instructions at 84.9 mile mark "Turn right onto US-62 west/brownfield hiway" "turn left onto US-62 west/muskogee ave in downtown Muskogee". i think this is actually in the town of Tahlequah. the next two directions are in the town of Muskogee.
