3346 miles for us. Not one problem on the tour. Tonight I backed the Cutlass out of the garage to wash it. Finished washing it, went to start it, the engine hit once and acts like it froze up. Long story short - negrative battery cable came loose. Well at least it happened at home.

Is anyone keeping track of the longest distance traveled this year?

It's over 4000 miles for sure, as noted by Mr. Hemi above. (My Dad played minor league baseball in Cape May in the early 50's)

Not as bad as I budgeted for @ 4.50 per gal.....

                    3247 door to door

Mine was 3247 from door to door. The Tri-power in line 200 cu in Ford 6 got a best of 22.5 mpg and a worst of 14.9 mpg :-)
Overall I enjoyed the tour and I'm glad I did it. I'll keep the negative tour comments for another thread...

I drove a little over 3,000 miles round trip. Spent $891.62 on gas, burned a little over 240 gallons, averaged 14.4 mpg. We ran 93 octane except in Oklahoma where we could only get 91. The big 429 didn't like that so we added 104 octane booster to keep the spark knock under control. We bought the 104 at the vendor trailer for $10 a bottle. We didn't pay over $4 per gallon! I was surprised!!! We budgeted $1,000 for gas and made it under budget.

I only made part of the tour this year and did 3500...I'm sure Rett/Chuck will either be the long distance winners or close if not the longest distance.

i didn't drive this year, but the person i drove with said he did over 7000 miles - south florida to detroit to dallas to south florida. seems a little high to me, but that's what he says.
