Here is where the Buckster is staying.....
HIE- Wet N Wild Way (Arlington)
* HIE- Randol Mills Rd (Arlington)
HIE- Cowhorn Creek Rd (Texarkana)
* HIE- Crossroads PKWY (Texarkana)
HIE- McCain BLVD (N. Little Rock)
* HIE- Bankhead Dr (Little Rock)
HIE- Copper Creek (Millington)
HIE- Valley Rd (Trussville- Bham)
Staybridge Suites- Carter St (Chattanooga)
HIE- Gateway Lane NW (Concord)
Now, here are my reasoning's for all of my hotels and this is just my two cents: Everyone had an awesome time at the HIE on Wet N Wild and rumors were that's where everyone is staying next year. The Texarkana and Little Rock stops I followed suite with Leon and Mike.
I'd bet anything that the venue for Memphis will be MMP, which is a good 30 minutes North of Memphis; so, with that being said, Millington is a really nice town only minutes from the race track. I've stayed there many times, the last being in 2009 when the track closed down. I was there for the NMCA LSX Shootout and Worlds Fastest Street Car Nationals. You won't be disappointed in Millington.
For Birmingham, you can stay at many choices, but I choose Trussville because the tour is going to somehow go North/East to get to Chattanooga. The traffic in the morning from South of B-Ham is going to SUCK!! Anyone that is from there, or lives around here can tell you that. Both Hoover and Pelham are South, and construction is NOT over and more than likely won't be. In 2010 it made sense to stay there because we were enroute to Mobile, this time, the route is opposite. It only makes sense to get out of the south party of the city.... Once again, just my two cents.
Chattanooga, I realize that most of the BS'rs are staying at Lookout Mountain, but downtown is Gorgeous!! Not only that, but there are several local breweries within walking distance of each other that are also restaurants. If there is a city to stay downtown and enjoy it, Chattanooga would be that city. Not only that, but it's right on the river....
Charlotte, once again I followed suit because I've never been there..... Ha Ha!! Can't wait for Z-Max Drag Strip!!!
