I'm back on the information highway. No damage but just got power back on today. Did get new fenders for "Maybellene" ('66 Chevelle) delivered yesterday.

Thanks for the update. As soon as I knew we weren't going to get blasted, I started praying for them. You passed us in Slidel leaving Blakes in June, now you would probably need a john boat to do it.

Glad most of the saturated sunshine state was spared this time.

    not dry yet DTB

Thankfully it looks as though it has been downgraded to a tropical storm. And everyone is thrilled with that except evidently the the left-leaning media.

Good thing Isaac is by passing Gulfport / Biloxi, the condo will be there for us in October. And thanks for watching out for us I think we'll be fine.

We're expecting our first feeder band of rain tonight but land fall has been put off until tomorow night. This thing could move farther west tomorrow....Look out Mike! Anyway went out and bought food and beer, then gas and beer, then sand bags and beer.....did I forget anything? Hurricane party starts at 6: 00 P.M. CST tonight!

so far, not alot of wind. not alot of real hard driving rains, but it has been a steady rain all day. basically, not a big deal for us.

Godspeed to everyone in the path - this thing has the potential to do a lot of damage - let's hope that potential is never realized.

Don't know if you folks down there are familiar with HAARP or not but a friend of mine just sent me this.

Seems to indicate that Isaac has the highest possibility of tornado outbreaks associated with it. Not good. We here in the midwest can attest to that.
