Figure I'll start off the list again a little early.
What's the prep list you have going on for PT2013?

Off hand on the Gran Torino...
-Get used police-spec Torino steering box inspected and rebuilt
-New PS lines fabbed up
-Remove & install replacement police box
-Replace front tires
-Powder coat wheels
-Would like to tint the windows
-Repaint lower dash
-Fix botched carpet install {mis-cut }
-Finish wiring up this mess:



Anyone have 40 feet of #4awg welding cable laying around?

Which also leads to me wanting to replace the vintage 1987 Alpine cassette deck, but then I need to cut the dash, and not that wild about that, but not like I am ever going original on my car anyways.
I've just not found an aftermarket deck that I like that fits the original mounting and looks good.

Andrew, have you checked out Custom Auto Sound for a head unit? I put one in Jade, it looks original, but it's completely digital and will even play off of a USB port. I will say that it definitely needs an amp to put the sound out....

You know I had thought about them, but the issue I was running into was they don't have a high enough pre-out voltage for my taste. I know it's stupid but i need a 4.0V preout voltage due to the number of amps I run. Anything less and I've killed head units.

Maybellene (66' Chevelle) needs: Vintage Air installed, engine & trans installed, new front & rear suspension, front clip put back on and painted. And new wheels and tires.

My GN leaks oil like the deep water horizon at the moment. Looks like an engine pull will be in order before I make it this year...

Putting together my other 468 to replace the tapping 454 in the camaro. Ordering engine kit Monday along with a new RADIATOR. Then hopefully first of the year back to work on the body.

SBC, 700R4,A/C,Satellite Radio,Power Brakes,Power Steering,Aluminum Radiator, Air Shocks, and new air freshener. All items are currently under construction or being installed with the exception of the air freshener.

Window Tint, Narrow bumpers and make new lower valance, lower seats, Maybe door bars for the cage, New belts, And I would like to add more/better gauges (gas gauge being biggest priority since I had to do a fuel cell)
