Between now and then you can try to guess and plot some possible routes on Google Maps and post your theories. It has been done in the past and it can get interesting with some debate by the group. The point to remember if you decide to do some plotting is that the route tends to avoid major stretches of interstate except on very long distance days.Jim & Maureen

The most scenic way from Chattanooga to Charlotte is to go to Cleveland TN on I-24, then US 74 (and I-40/74) to Charlotte. Using this route there is approx. 50 miles of two lane from Ocoee, TN to Bryson City, NC. We are staying in Cleveland Thursday night to get an early start where we can enjoy the drive.
