    2013 HRPT directions

    Where can I get actual road directions between scheduled stops and times of leaving each stop

    They won't announce the driving directions until right before the tour. When they do, I'll do the day by day directions for everyone.

      Between now and then you can try to guess and plot some possible routes on Google Maps and post your theories. It has been done in the past and it can get interesting with some debate by the group. The point to remember if you decide to do some plotting is that the route tends to avoid major stretches of interstate except on very long distance days.

          agreed......any way you look at it, one heck of a drive.......looking at it, it's one thing to do interstates, but then again....through the mountains (?).......anyone have any ideas as to which way we might be going (to cover 300 miles)?.........rexx!

                The most scenic way from Chattanooga to Charlotte is to go to Cleveland TN on I-24, then US 74 (and I-40/74) to Charlotte. Using this route there is approx. 50 miles of two lane from Ocoee, TN to Bryson City, NC. We are staying in Cleveland Thursday night to get an early start where we can enjoy the drive.

                HRPT 2000, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011, Long Haul 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017,2018
