I retired my old laptop from power tours past.......got a new one for x-mas & I can use my Blackberry as a tethered modem......will be watching up close personally for 3 days then I will watch it from a far viturally to the end.

dont leave home without mine. i use it to watch movies get maps music. with about 1000 songs on i can link it to my car stereo and never have to change cd or worry about what radio station i can get. Plus it help to have when you fill up your camera and cam corder, dump it and take lots more pics.No matter where you go you can always find a internet connection

Yup, am taking my macbook pro as thats what is being used to record from the 3 video cameras that will be on the car. I will also have a 750gb back up drive as at 13.5gb an hour per camera im gonna need a lot of storage lol

Am also taking my Canon EOS 400D and lenses

LOL what can i say, This year is a trial run for next year, i havnt even driven my car yet and i know we are gonna need more power than the old dyno can produce but funds didnt run to a big alternator.

I also have my tomtom and one of the other guys is brining his laptop as well, he actualy works for the company that makes the vbox and he might be brining some other bits but with an old car we are limited to what we can datalog.

I got the inverter installed in the trunk yesterday with a power strip coming out from under the back seat of the Chevelle. Good for keeping cell phones, camera (Canon 40D), Laptop all juiced up. Good thing I did the 105 Amp alt. upgrade this past Winter...
