Re: Any Power Tour Veterans? Post Your Pics here!
Nope, it doesn't match the wheels, well not totally. The current owner bought it back in the late 90's and a smashed 86 GN. Took most of the useable stuff and tossed it in the back of the wagon, the diff was smashed and the engine and tranny he's keeping, so right now its a poser GN with the wheel and a 79 Turbo hood. It currently has a lame 231 2bbl right now with a TH350C lockup 3spd. Its going to keep the TH350C unless I get adventerous and go for a TH200-4R, the engine is going to be an EFI 4.1L with a top end off of another smashed 86 GN but no turbo, not yet.
Its my new engineering test mule, parts hauler, and occassional work driver car. Right now the test subject is to run an LC2 (Turbo6) engine with an L67 (3800 Supercharged) ECM and harness, and a hybrid L67 and Stage II drysump oiling system. I'm not risking any of the expensive stuff with the experimental oil and ECM systems so I'm keeping the turbo off for Powertour.
