Due to the recent tornados around Oklahoma City, would it be wise to avoid this area on the trip to Texas?? I believe 2011 Birmingham was a mess (traffic and debris) for some getting to Cocoa Beach.

No 35 is fine threw Moore. The road is clear and most of the on-lookers are gone. I drive threw there everyday on my way to Dallas.Grizzly Adams is my hero. -
