Thats cheap compared to Southern Ca. Premium at $3.69, reg at 3.49. Now up here in Big Bear which is a resort town, we are paying 3.89 for premium and 3.69 for reg. Diesel is 3.99

gas around here is about $3.15. i'm woundering if the $4.00 a gallon i planned for the power tour will be high enough. ???

I heard that by summer it is supposed to be $4.00 plus. Diesel here is now right at $4.00, there goes all our food prices through the roof, and what ever else we need to live. >

From what I have read in the papers, we have it good at these prices. Foreign countries pay over $5 a gallon.

I am glad I didn't commit myself to this power tour because I really couldn't have afforded it. I was pushing it last year but I think this is going to become worse as time goes by. Hope I am wrong though for all of you.

$3.12 here. If gas gets really high I would cut back on something else like eating out or going to the bar. Driving our cars is what we love to do.

hey cheapster... i just found out i'm going on a GE seminar on april 7,8,9 in Cleveland, so skipping the R&R HOF to do the VA hospital thing turned out to be alright after all!! now I will have something to do in my free time(our hotel is in walking distance. God sure takes care of me good!! See you in KC 8)

Mike:....I missed the VA stop last year (daughter gave birth); this year, planning on getting to LR on Thursday early eve, so that Friday can run around; have you heard anything about a VA stop on Friday in LR (there's two VA's?).....rexdogg....

Yes, there is a VA stop planned for LR on Friday, but I'm not sure which one and I forget who was organizing it. I think the same freak that planned it last year was doing it again this year.
I'd have to go to the "slow" site and look around ...

Thanks for the interest guys and gals! :D I will be putting the details together in April. I will see which hospital has the rehab center since that is what we visited last year. When I know more I'll start a new thread, so everyone can plan their Friday. Like rexdogg said, he's getting to LR Thursday which is a good idea. The VA visit will be set up for Friday mid-morning and should last a couple of hours. Plenty of time left in the day for sightseeing, etc. :D
