Was on the way from Minneapolis to Chicago, and stopped at a place near Rockford, IL. This looked pretty good to me, and felt it was priced pretty fair (Fall is the end of "car time" here in the midwest). Wife drove the regular car, I drove this... My PT 2009 ride!

Yup, 427 powered, the correct Raly Green color, correct mags, and I think looking pretty good. A very good recreation for 1/15th the price of a real one. I just HAD tooooo....

It was at Speedway Auto Mall in Machesney, IL (top of Rockford, IL). I had never been there, but came across it online. About a 200 car showroom, with 35 or so specialty cars. Nice friendly place.

Actually the answer is yes. I do have to sell something, and it's between two of my current cars. The '63 Nova SS has a 355" motor, turbo 350 with shift kit, 10 bolt with new posi, 3:73's (and 3:08's out), flowmaster exhaust, and many other new parts. Drives great for a 60's car, but the new steering gear probably helps that a lot. Drove it on Hot Rod Drag Week 2007, performed flawlessly all week, best of 13.34 at 105mph, and drove it there too. Never trailer, never. I'd like to get $18,500 out of it. That's what I paid 18 months ago, and have put $2G's more into it.
That, or my Pro Street '93 Camaro.

The 454 (462) was just freshened, and picking it up tonight. Did get 17.78mpg on one tank I checked coming home from this years PT. It is pictured in the new Hot Rod magazine in the photo from Rochester PT2008, on the 2nd (contents) page. Made me happy. Have 3 issues now. That's $24,900. Whatever sells first.
