Getting Pro65 aka Derrell on PT 09

To those of you who have contributed so far I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Not only for helping out, but for making what I thought impossible happen, causing Derrell to be at a loss for words ;). I talked to him yesterday and he told me to thank everybody as he no longer has internet connection at the house, let it go to save some $.
We are half way there folks, so if you can make any kind addition to the cause it WILL be greatly appreciated. All we have to cover is the cost of rooms. For more info PM me.

Come on guys, help Matt out here. If you can't swing alot of cash, give up a 6-pack or an evening out and and send Matt a check to help out a buddy. I guarantee every one of us would stop if he was broke down along the road somewhere, and this isn't much different. Someone may have to do this for one of us one day, so if you can, 'pay it forward'.

Matt, sounds like the freaks are coming through. We met Ed & Mary along w/Earl last year, really nice folks. If you find us at a hotel, you'll probably meet rexxdog (Dave). We are staying at the same hotels he is. He's got a beautiful Camaro!

Well, thanks, Lin...not sure about the "beautiful Camaro" part....maybe "husky", or "muscular", or "great sounding", or...how about the reality: it's a manual transmission car (meaning up shifts, down shifts, etc., depending on the PT route), with bucket seats, no a/c, sound system barely audible over the road and engine noise, engine runs cool, but inside the car it's about 250 degrees (and I'm trying my best to look "cool and suave" when we travel through the smaller towns and into the venues (like a cross between John Wayne and Clint Eastwood, even though I physically feel like I just came out of an oven)....some folks I work with used to ask me, what's it like to ride in the car? I say, it's like "rough sex"....hot, bumpy, loud, and vibrates like hell.....now, keep in mind, I have no idea of the difference between rough sex, or soft sex, or no sex....I'm just trying to tell a story here (or maybe a joke)....hey, (as I'm driving) is my hair out of place?....uh...do I have any hair to put into place?......hey, it's the Power Tour, let's roll! rexx
