Well the Credit Card bill came in...took $539 to go apx 3400 miles. Works out to 12 1/2 cents a mile in gas.

My total mileage was 8,566 km (5323 miles) and 693 L (183 gallons) of gas. Worked out to about 29 mpg if I did my math right which isn't too bad.

We took back roads from Dells, found a cool "old" town, Madison Ind. Kathy and I said we'd like to return to hang out for a weekend sometime. Seeing our town was having their annual celebration "Coon Dog Day" on the 4th of July, we decided to get outa town. Went to Madison and they were having the H1 Unlimited Power Boat races, fireworks, air show and parade. HRPT asked in their survey "does Power Tour take you to cities that you would return to?"......YES, we did.

That's cool, I guess if I did the " bucket list thingy " the unlimited and the Nitro drag boats would be on it.

Yes dear, I know that. But Lake Lure is one place I would consider going back to. And now, back to our regularly scheduled programming.
