    Not sure if everybody knows or not, but Drag Week starts in less than a week on September 6th and our very own Chad Reynolds will be participating with no less than the legendary Drag Week speed freak, Larry Larson. Read more here:

    It's a shame, that license plate is brand new will be wrong in just a couple weeks.
    GM G-bodies, because I can't afford a 69 Camaro.

        and HOT ROD is happy to announce these dates and locations:

        Sunday September 7, 2014: Registration & Test ‘n Tune; Tulsa Raceway Park, Tulsa, OK
        Monday September 8, 2014: Day 1 Racing; Tulsa Raceway Park
        Tuesday September 9, 2014: Day 2 Racing; Heartland Park, Topeka, KS
        Wednesday September 10, 2014: Day 3 Racing; Thunder Valley Raceway Park, Noble, OK
        Thursday September 11, 2014: Day 4 Racing; S.R.C.A. Drag Strip, Great Bend, KS

                    We know that lots of you have been waiting for Hot Rod Magazine Drag Week and BangShift wants to share some news ... we will have a live streaming broadcast of the event, which begins on Monday September 8th in the morning, sometime between 8-9am (Tulsa time), when we will “go hot” and you will have a live look inside the greatest gearhead challenge in America.                       UPDATES: Jeff Lutz will be there with two ’57 Chevy Unlimited cars. Last year’s winner Tom Bailey will be there with even more power from Steve Morris. Freiburger and Finnegan from RoadKill will be there the whole week.
