NEWS !

According to Tulsa Raceway Park's schedule, they will have a test n tune/ Drag Week pre party on Saturday night, Sept. 6 from 8 PM to 3 AM. Cars with slicks, drag radials, and DOT approved racing tires can start making passes at 9 PM. All others start at midnight. I plan to be there- might be easier to tune at night rather than in the heat of the day. Plus who knows where you will wind up in tech line and when you will get thru tech. Saw several fast cars there a couple of years ago. That night is when the Aussie Farrone destroyed the first of several transmissions that week and several others had some issues. Could be lots of fun!

We know that lots of you have been waiting for Hot Rod Magazine Drag Week and BangShift wants to share some news ... we will have a live streaming broadcast of the event, which begins on Monday September 8th in the morning, sometime between 8-9am (Tulsa time), when we will “go hot” and you will have a live look inside the greatest gearhead challenge in America. UPDATES: Jeff Lutz will be there with two ’57 Chevy Unlimited cars. Last year’s winner Tom Bailey will be there with even more power from Steve Morris. Freiburger and Finnegan from RoadKill will be there the whole week.
