From the FB Power Tour page; Starr Tara Thevenin just called them ..."they are handling the hotels now and still won't divulge any locations though, still some planning left to do according to her. Says with the new people taking over for next year it's taking longer, she will be heading to California to meet with them to finalize the hotels soon."

"At this time the Event Company has not released the cities or dates. We will be doing the hotel blocks once we receive the information. Travel Planners .net will only be in charge of booking the hotel rooms."

So it would appear they are only doing the hotel room side of planning, and not the actual event registration. Wonder is taking on that responsibility?

Patricia Anne just posted on FB .... "I corresponded through email with Sharon from Travelplanners yesterday. She does not know the dates or cities at this time but is expecting to have the info to announce in 10 to 14 days."

I can hear it now when the hotels are a disaster. "It wasn't too bad for our first year." I really hope they do a good job on this. I really hope they visit these boards and read what actual people are griping about.

But, it is good to see that it is a go and that soon we'll know something. I have two other vacation scenarios out there for next year and they both kind of hinge on this.

Goes along with what I've heard from last summer. I'm booking rooms and staying at home the night of Gateway (Madison, IL/STL).

Guesses for a venue in Baton Rouge? Assuming Miller Park in WI.
