when i had 4.10's and my T/ram on my sbc i was turning about 3500rpm at 55 mph and wasn't fun on the fwy as i felt like i was going to be run over but...

just talked with Nelson at ACC and that converter with my engine specs ,rear gearing and vehicle weight should stall between 2800-3200rpm !!!

i've always have had luck with either the Holley Blue or the Carter Gold electric fuel pumps ,both were 14psi unregulated . now i know this won't help...

what i've used is carb cleaner or gasoline and a soft bristle brush and even heard of using seafoam or seafoam deep creep as those also work well to remove/loosen...

I've never had issues with Holley carbs on this motor and have had dual 660's , dual 450's even a single 850 do and many 750's with no driveability issues...
