Well with the recent move to the high country, I actually need ground clearance. It needs to actually function as a Jeep for me.

I acquired this thing for my daughter to drive to and from school....

I was really expecting to spend close to 500 on this thing .... wow...

So for a grand total of $163, I was able to pick up a 242 tcase, both front and rear drive shafts and a shifter bezel for the 242. Are these things/parts/etc...

Ok, so I was able to pick up both complete shafts off of craigs for $75....

So if I'm understanding that write up correctly, all I will need to make the 242 work is the rear drive shaft from the 97?

This one broke the sprag and sun gear .... clutches may have well been toast too. Converter check okay but need to be cleaned out. More heavy duty race...
