Barn Find Cleanup! All Original 1980 Pinto Station Wagon! 69,000 miles with original Sales Receipt!

Last week we ran video of this awesome little Pinto wagon that had been parked and left to sit for years. It was saved, and a real cleanup was planned. With only 69,000 original miles on it this little car is worth something to the right buyer. I’d love to own it and would of course someday turbocharge the little 2.3 under the hood, but that’s another story. Until then I’d just drive this little car. It’s so nice! Here is the newest video and a link to the first one if you missed it.

Video Description:

This is a neat little car that you hardly ever find in this condition! An all original 1980 Pinto Station Wagon!

I recently found this little car in a building where it had been parked 10-12 years ago. Be sure to check out the video when I found it! Fortunately, it didn’t take much work to get it running again! I checked the fluids and put some fresh gas in it and she fired up. I found one small fuel hose that was leaking, but that was about it!

This little car buffed out nicely and the original paint still has a nice shine. This is a fairly basic car with a 4 cylinder and an automatic. Not many of these little Pintos were saved, so it was cool to find this one!

This little car is ready to head to a new owner. It wouldn’t take much work to make this car and original driver OR it would make a great candidate for an engine swap! I know someone has a cool vision for this little car and it’s going to be a fun little project for the next owner!

Freaking awesome! I’d get some earlier model front fenders and bumpers, drop a 302 in it, and keep it forever!

I had this exact car–same year, same color–about 15 years ago. And yes, of course, I had plans to drop a 302 in it…I even built the short block…alas…well, you know the rest of the story… 🙂
