One of the most infamous cars we have ever had the privilege of showing on these pages is the battered second-generation Camaro from Sweden known as the Ice Monster. What little we do know about the car came from our own interpretations: it started life as a 1975 or newer Camaro (the larger rear glass gives it away) that was used, abused, beaten up and finally converted into an ice racer. Sporting an early 1970s nose cone and studded tires, the Camaro was known for ripping around frozen lakes, screaming out the V8 song at the top of it’s lungs while making mincemeat of lesser cars. Jobergg sent us the footage and ever since then, we all have wanted a car just like the Ice Monster: No creature comforts, all motor, enough safety to survive, and enough attitude to make everyone else think twice before trying. We wonder what that Camaro is up to now…
